IB

The International Baccalaureate program. I am about to enter into this program and am having second thoughts. Should I stay in IB, or should I take AP instead? Comments would be appreciated. To my understanding, this is what I can expect from each:

AP- College credits, bonus points on grade, and challenging courses.

IB- Very challenging courses, most colleges/universities won't accept you, the dreaded Extended Essay, and the thrill of endless nights without sleep.

Someone please tell me a benefit of this soul-stealing program.

Getting Started...

Hello everyone. I'm not one for pleasantries, so don't expect nice things from me. At first I only made an account so I could subscribe to Prince Paradox's Xanga, but I have now decided to write entries. I was thinking I would use this weblog to vent out my frustrations. Normally, I am an optimistic person with a love of life. Lately I've become more and more aware of how hopeless it is, though.

I hope to cover a broad range of subjects, including video games, Dungeons & Dragons, religion, pirates, scouting, venturing, and school.

I like to think of myself as an intelligent person, superior to most people my age, and destined for something great. Around my friends I am very talkative, but only about my interests, whereas when I am alone I am silent, contemplative, and thinking about my emotions, life, and future.

If you want to group me into a social class, I suppose I am a geek or a nerd. I like computers, video games, D&D, I have glasses and an inhaler, and I am a Boy Scout. Furthermore, I like anime, cosplay, comic books, conventions, and just about anything else stereotypically defined as "geeky" or "uncool."

I am currently 16 years old, about to start my junior year at Woodland High School, an Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America, and a very funny person, often cynical or insulting.

Now let's have some fun.
